Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has criticized Real Madrid president Florentino Perez’s disrespect for PSG in an interview about the future of Paris Saint-Germain. Kylian Mbappe appears to be preparing a pre-contract agreement with the 22-year-old on January 1, AS reported on Monday.
Mbappe has a contract with Paris Saint-Germain until the summer of 2022. The France international can sign a pre-contract agreement with any club from January 1. ‘These comments from Florentino Perez are just a continuation of our lack of respect for PSG and Kylian,’ Leonardo said. Madrid (Benzema), coach (Ancelotti) and now the Real Madrid president have spoken of Kylian as if he was one of them.
‘Florentino Perez has been speaking about Kylian to Real Madrid fans all week, I reiterate that it is unacceptable disrespect.
‘What Florentino has been doing has been going on for two years,’ Leonardo added, ‘The market is over. And the season is going on, there are many games and Real Madrid can’t continue acting like this, stop it! Kylian is a PSG player and the club understands that this relationship will last forever.’

“Mbappe is a PSG player and the club fully understands that this relationship will last.
“These new comments are just the continuation of a lack of respect towards PSG and towards Kylian Mbappe.”
Real had offered a fee which would been the third-highest of all-time, behind Neymar and Mbappe’s transfers in 2017 and 2018, something Mbappe was keen to get for his club after requesting a transfer in July.
“I announced it early enough… I said ‘if you don’t want me to leave, I’ll stay’.”
It was claimed in the local media that Mbappe, who scored 42 goals in all competitions last season for PSG. He had refused several offers to extend his contract — something the Frenchman has refuted.
“People have said that I refused six or seven offers of extension. That I do not want to talk to [sporting director] Leonardo, this is absolutely not true” he added.
