Tammy Abraham and Ben Chilwell added to England squad for World Cup qualifiers. England confirmed they had called Tammy Abraham and Ben Chilwell on Monday.

The Athletic reported on Monday that England manager Gareth Southgate had decided to summon Abraham, joining others on this tuesday. This marks Abraham’s return to the national team in almost a year after the last round took place in November 2020.
Shortly thereafter, the Roaring Lions issued a statement confirming that the Roma striker had been summoned to strengthen the squad and the 24-year-old would not be replacing the others.
